Imerian Kachapuri





Ingredients necessary to prepare Imerian Khachapuri
  •         250 grams flour
  •         2 grams yeast
  •         5 grams salt 
  •         80 grams water
  •         300 grams Imerian cheese
  •       10 grams melted butter
  •        10 grams vegetable oil
Take the flour and salt in accordance with your taste.  Pour in the yeast, add the vegetable oil, pour in water. Mix them and knead the dough mass. Wait 15 or 20 minutes until the dough has risen. Knead the bloated dough again. Wrap the dough in a cellophane. Put in refrigerator for 15 minutes.  Grate the cheese with a grater.  Make a cheese ball from the cheese grates.  Pour the flour on a wooden surface. Get the prepared dough and roll (It is very important to roll it as follows).  Put the cheese ball in the middle on the rolled dough and pick the dough edges up. Roll it carefully and equally. Turn over khachapuri  on the knotted side and roll it again. After rolling up make the hole in the middle of the mass (to exclude the chance of inflation of the dough during the backing process. Put the khachapuri in the frying pan and back it in the oven for 3-4 minutes (at approximately 200-220 degrees). Put the cooked mass on the wooden chopping board and brush the entire surface with the melted butter.
Serve the Khachapuri  hot and sliced in pieces on the table and enjoy.
